In the most recent issue of the magazine, Peter Schjeldahl reviews the Whitney Museum’s retrospective of Jeff Koons, the last show to be held in the Madison Avenue building before the museum relocates downtown. The exhibition, Schjeldahl writes, “calls to account the most original, controversial, and expensive American artist of the past three and a half decades.”
