All right, all right, all right. The Emmys are on Monday, and are notable, among other details, for marking Matthew McConaughey's ascent onto the short list of actors who have received both an Oscar and an Emmy nod in the same year. Among the top nominees this year are “Orange Is the New Black” and McConaughey's “True Detective,” as well as “Game of Thrones,” which earned a leading nineteen nominations. The Clone Club, for its part, has not happy, and there has been conspicuous Twitter umbrage on behalf of non-nominees including Mindy Kaling, Amy Poehler, “The Americans,” and “The Good Wife.” There will certainly be more to argue about starting Monday evening, when Seth Meyers hosts the ceremony.
