The New Yorker’s Ninetieth: Cartoons from 2005 to 2015

These cartoons were all inked in the past decade, just like me—I got a tattoo last year. Obviously, given my job, it’s a tattoo of a cartoon. Which cartoon is it, you ask? Not even enhanced interrogation will get me to reveal it.

In the past ten years, we’ve been joined by some mighty new cartoonists. You’ll see work by Joe Dator, Emily Flake, Zachary Kanin, Farley Katz, Paul Noth, Benjamin Schwartz, Edward Steed, and Liam Francis Walsh in the slide show above, but there are many more who are drawing up their legacies at The New Yorker every week. Here’s to ninety more years of cartoons and, God help us, me especially, cartoon tattoos.
