This week, in the Style Issue of the magazine, The New Yorker’s staff photographer Pari Dukovic highlights Rag & Bone’s spring, 2014, runway show at New York Fashion Week. Dukovic began photographing the label during the spring, 2013, season. “I am now fascinated by the theatrical aspect of fashion,” Dukovic said. “When I shoot, I always look for moments that capture the ethereal quality of the shows.” Dukovic’s Rag & Bone pictures locate this theatricality and ethereality in the backstage preparations as well as on the runway.
